When our college caught fire.
Hello readers. Did you’ll know, once our college caught fire. Ya fire , our college was burning. Let me tell you’ll that story.
It was a rainy day in Bangalore. It was 7:30 in the evening. It was raining heavily. Heavy thunderstorms. Well everyone can guess my next line, What next after thunderstorm? Yes, power-cut. I was sitting in our room with my room-mates Shivaraj and Punith. A candle was lit and kept on Punith’s table. We were worried about our dinner, because we had to go out to any hotel in that heavy rain. Someone knocked the door.
Shiva: Yes, who’s that?
The one who knocked: Arrey, open the door..
Me: hey, Its Bharath, Our senior. Just watch what I’ll do now, you’ll just cooperate me.
I could see my room-mates nodding their head. Shiva opened the door.
Shiva: Hey Bharath, whats up???
Bharath: Nothing much, what were you’ll doing?
Me: Nothing yaar, thinking what next? Life’s got messed up.
Bharath: why dude? Whats the problem? Anything serious?
Me: (in a soft voice) what to say? My life’s gone.
Bharath: tell me clearly.
Me: (in the softest possible voice) Our college caught fire.
I Could see Shivaraj and Punith trying to control their laugh. And I could also see change of expression in Bharath’s face.
Bharath: how? How did this happen?
Me: Didn’t you hear a loud thunder?
Bharath: yes, I did hear.
Shiva: That lighting struck our college and our college caught fire. Now our college is burning.
Me: nothing’s left in the office room and princi chamber. everything got burnt. Our college is so far that even fire engines couldn’t reach there in time.
Bharath: Oh my God!!
Punith: you know the worst part? All our documents also got burnt. Everything, our 10th marks card, 12th marks card and even our engineering marks cards got burnt.
Bharath: Ohhhhhhhhhh… (I couldn’t control myself. Was feeling like laughing out loudly)
Bharath: how did you’ll come to know about it.
Me: my friend Kopresh told. First I didn’t believe him. Then Mahalinga confirmed the news. He stays in Byrohalli. (Our college is in Byrohalli). Will tune FM radio now. We might get some news.
Bharath: ya tune. I’ll tell my friends.
Me: ok.
Bharath went out to make a call. We laughed loudly at him when he went out. . He came back after a while.
Bharath: Hey none of my friends knew about this incident. I told everyone now.
First Punith started laughing at him. Then Shivaraj laughed. I could not control myself. Even I laughed.
Bharath: Why are you’ll laughing?
We told him the truth. He stared at us with anger. But he smiled and left our room. By then it had stopped raining and we went out to have food.
Well that was the story. Hope you’ll liked. Once again I’m still learning to write. Please leave your comments and help me to improve my writing.
Will be back with new tarle story next time. Until then, BYE….

My experience of kerala trip - 5
Hello readers.
I’m back with the last episode of ‘My Experience of Kerala trip'.
24th March,
I woke up when I heard someone knocking the door. And as soon as Chandan opened the door, Motor-mouth -Jayanthi started scolding. She was us scolding non-stop, For sleeping longer.. ZZZzzzzzzz.. To be short, “Rather buy a Vuvuzela music CD than get scoldings from Jayanthi.” She was scolding because she was curious of playing in the beach.
We were told not to bath, we got ready and went to the beach. The beach wasn’t as beautiful as our Karwar beach. Within no time everyone started playing in sea. I didn’t step in water. Because I’d promised my dad. Girish was standing on the shore with me. Everyone was enjoying in water. For me watching them itself was an enjoyment. Girish couldn’t control himself. He too joined them. Within few minutes Karthik came out saying ‘The water is salty’.
Everyone came out of water one-by-one. Some were digging sand on the shore. We buried Kiran there, keeping only his head out. Local people started gathering there. Kiran came out and we buried Chandan. Shaped it as a mermaid. ;-). More and more people were gathering. Again everyone stepped into water. Kiran lost his glasses in the sea. Afer playing for an hour, we had to go back to our room. Everyone except me and kiran had to walk. We had our bath and packed our bags.
We left the lodge at 10:30. We were in search of hotel to have breakfast. There were no good hotels. We stopped for breakfast after travelling for about 30kms. We milkshake and puffs in a bakery. That was our breakfast.
I was sitting with Kusuma in the last seat and we were making fun of Abdul. Abdul was cutting jokes. Actually he was telling about his past life and it was sounding as joke;-).
Then we went to a lake. Everyone went for pedal-boating. I stayed in bus with kiran. He was not as before. After losing his glasses he was very silent.
Then we went to a beautiful waterfalls in Waynad district. Our action hero Abdul had begun his new stunt. He had started climbing the rocks of the water falls. Girish scolded him. Whenever abdul would go home late, his Mom would call me and ask about him. So I had a responsibility on my shoulders. I too scolded him. He came back.
The funniest thing was when Pooja and Chandan slipped into the water. Luckily the water wasn’t deep.
We were already late. We left to Yedakal. It was our main place of the day. We reached there at 5pm. The gate was closed, and we were bit disappointed.
We left yedakal and started playing in the bus. On the way, in Bandipur we saw few elephants. As soon as we reached Gundlupet I started messaging my friends, because we had entered Karnataka and messages weren’t getting charged.;-). My cell phone battery was draining. We reached Mysore at 8 and had our dinner there.
We reached Kengeri at 12:30. I had to get down. Everyone including bus driver and cleaner were waving hands, saying bye.;-) even I was waving back. End of a memorable trip. It helped me to know our friends better.
Well that was our Kerala Trip. Shared it with you’ll. Miss you’ll friends.

Wrong Number
Hello readers. You all might be having cell phones. Of course these days its very important. You receive calls, you make calls, you send SMS, and you receive SMS, browse and do what not. You stay in touch with everyone. There’s no doubt, cell phone is very useful.
So you’ll might have received wrong numbers also. But have you ever received wrong number asking for yourself????
Well, I keep on receiving such calls. I get calls asking for Vishal from unknown people.
3-4 months back I received a call from an unknown number. It was a lady.
Lady: Hello!!
Me: Hello.
Lady: Vishal, when are you coming? Where are you?
I was totally confused.
Me: Hello, may I know who this is??
Lady: It’s Vishal right??!!
Me: Ya.
Lady: Hey, it’s me Sunanda yaar.. Come as soon as possible.
I couldn’t understand what was going on. I knew one Sunanda. Sunanda Madival, the one who worked in our Gas agency. But she didn’t know English. But she was trained to speak a few lines in English. So I thought it was Sunanda Madival.
Me: Ha, tell.
Lady: When are you coming?
Me: By the end of this month….. ( I was supposed to go to Karwar by the end of that month)
Lady: Are you joking. Look Vishal come here by today evening..
Me: Ha ha, nice joke ha..
Lady: Vishal, stop kidding.
I realized that it wasn’t a trained English.
Me: Hello, who’s this???
Lady: its Vishal right? Wipro Vishal??
Me: ya I’m vishal. But not wipro vishal.
Lady: sorry sir, wrong number.
How can this happen? How can she dial a wrong number to another Vishal? Strange…
After about 2months received another call. This time from another number.
Me: Hello.
Man: Hello Vishal.
Me: Ya, who’s this???
Man: It’s me naveen yaar. How was your day at office??
Me: Naveen?? Office??
Man: Naveen B.S. yaar.
I don’t know any Naveen and any office. I get frustrated when I get calls or messages from unknown numbers.
Me: I don’t know any Naveen and about which office are you talking about??
Man: It’s vishal from Wipro right?
Me: No, but who is that Vishal from Wipro? I’m vishal but not Vishal from Wipro. Tell me who that Vishal is.
Man: sorry sir, wrong number.
Me: hello, please tell me who’s that vishal from Wipro? How did you get my number? Please tell me.
He disconnected the call……….
After few days again I received call asking for same ‘Wipro vishal’. Seems it was Suresh who had called.
Yesterday again I received a wrong call. From Pawan. Pawan from Airtel. But again asking for the same Vishal from Wipro.
Arrey who’s that Wipro Vishal? Why am I getting his call? What’s his number? How did they get my number? Still finding answers to these questions.
